Stacy grew up in a small town, Titusville, Pennsylvania. Her family still resides in northwestern Pennsylvania. Stacy graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She continued her graduate studies at Penn State in Clinical Psychology and followed with studies at Augusta State University in Exercise Physiology. Stacy was a collegiate cheerleader for four years while coaching summer camps every summer.

Stacy has proven that with tremendous vision you can accomplish anything. She retired from gymnastics at age 14 with just a few years of experience behind her. She began coaching at 15 years old and has continued throughout the years.

In 1998, at the age of 28, Stacy decided to try competing in fitness and has beaten all odds, ranging from severe injuries and hypothyroidism to getting back into gymnastics after 14 years. Now, at the age of 34, Stacy has a life that would make your head spin. Her mornings begin at 5:30 a.m. during the off season and 4:00 a.m. during competition season. She trains herself and others throughout mid-afternoon and coaches gymnastics and cheerleading at Hayden's in the evenings and on weekends. Stacy currently has several all-star cheerleading squads at Hayden's International Gymnastics where she also servers as program director. You can find information on this program at Hayden's All Stars' website

In her "free" time, Stacy does research for two upcoming books. Her cookbook, "Recipes for a Fit You" is currently being revised for younger populations and will be titled "Cooking for Kids". It will feature easy to follow recipes for the entire family. The second book is a motivational script drawing from life's challenges to achieve extraordinary accomplishments. The book will be titled "Survival of the Fittest".

Stacy obviously has little time for hobbies, but loves outdoor sports. She incorporates running, biking, and roller-blading into her workouts. On the rare occasion that she has a free weeked, she works on her home. For relaxation, Stacy enjoys reading, attending church, and spending time with her dogs "Z" and "JD". "Z" is a two and one-half year old Rottweiler-Doberman mix that Stacy rescued from the Humane Society last year. "JD" is a five year old golden retriever. They are her pride and joy.

Speaking of pride and joy...

Stacy recently married Paul Bushee of Clarksville, Tennessee. Paul is currently serving our country on assignment in Kuwait. Paul and Stacy plan to relocate together in the Fall of 2007, destination undecided.
