Stacy Wig Biography
My motto is “Dare to be Remarkable.”
That is done by persevering through the trials and tribulations presented in every day life and dedicating each day to your passion.

My name is Stacy Wig, IFBB Fitness Professional. I earned my pro card in fitness by winning the 2002 NPC Fitness National in Dallas, Texas after recovering from a broken neck 11 months prior and foot surgery 7 months out. My first two years as a pro were uneventful because I found out I had compartment syndrome and had to have both legs operated on. I sustained bilateral fasciotomies and took two years to recover. It was an absolute miracle that I was even able to walk after suffering such a severe case of compartment syndrome (I was at high risk for amputation from the knee down) but I was determined to recover quickly and come back to the sport and the career that I loved. I attempted to make a come back in fitness in 2007 but had some hip issues and had to have yet another surgery.

Today I continue to strive toward my own fitness goals but with a different focus. My main purpose is to bring “life” to others through fitness. That may be by inspiring individuals to compete in a sport that they didn’t think they had the talent or ability for, creating a road map for those that are lost and can’t find the way to their goals without a little direction, or encouraging a positive focal point for those suffering and unable to see the light. I am placing emphasis on the journey by honoring my body as much as this professional sport will allow. I practice yoga regularly, listen to motivational CDs by all of the top speakers in the country, and try to maintain balance in my life. I have been blessed with a wonderful family, treasured friendships, and a rewarding career. I have found strength by surviving physical, psychological, and spiritual hurdles that have given me the empathy I need to be an effective mentor for others.
